The Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8550 is a much better wide-format printer overall than the Epson Expression Photo HD-XP-15000. As an all-in-one device, the ET-8550 is more versatile, with a flatbed scanner that can accommodate up to Legal size sheets. Moreover, its supertank ink system yields exponentially more pages and offers superior document printing quality. That being said, the XP-15000 offers comparable photo printing quality for a fraction of the price, so it may be the better choice if you only print photos.
