TCL 6 Series 2018
These two TVs have different panel types, each with its advantages and disadvantages. The LG SK6300 has an IPS panel and is a better choice for a room with a wide seating arrangement, as the image remains accurate when viewed from the side. The TCL R617 has a VA panel and has a much better dark room performance with deep blacks, thanks to the high contrast ratio and better local dimming support. The R617 can get brighter and is more suitable if you have a bright room. The R617 has a wide color gamut and can deliver a much better HDR performance.
