Although both are 14-inch laptops, the Apple MacBook Pro 14 (M3, 2023) and ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (2024) are quite different. The Apple laptop is a mobile workstation designed to handle demanding workloads like 3D modeling and rendering on the go, while the ASUS is an ultraportable designed for light productivity tasks like word processing or spreadsheets. The Apple model also offers a better user experience overall, as it features a brighter Mini LED display, industry-leading up-firing speakers, and much better battery life. The 2.8k OLED panel on the ASUS is slightly sharper, but you have to pay extra for it as the base option is an FHD+ 60Hz OLED display.
