HP Spectre x360 14 (2024)
Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 (2024)
The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 (2024) and the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) are both high-end 2-in-1 convertibles designed for general productivity. The overall user experience is pretty similar between these two devices, though the HP comes out slightly ahead. Its keyboard has more key travel, and its touchpad is haptic, making it much easier to use since you can click anywhere. The HP also sports a higher quality webcam and better-sounding speakers. Performance will depend on the configuration; you can likely get a bit more processing power out of the HP if you get the Core Ultra 7 model because the Samsung's Intel Lunar Lake CPUs no longer support Hyper-Threading. Lastly, although both laptops have an OLED panel, the HP's screen flickers at a much higher frequency, so it's likely to be less bothersome to people sensitive to screen flicker.
