The hOmeLabs HME021002N is a 35-pint dehumidifier intended for medium-sized rooms. It has an Energy Star rating of 1.9L/kWh, a 0.8 gal (3.0 L) water tank, and a drain port for continuous drainage, though it doesn't come with a drain hose.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N is decent for use in basements. Its dehumidification capacity is sufficient for medium-sized rooms, though it might struggle a little in especially large or wide-open rooms. It's quite energy-efficient, however, and you can configure it for continuous drainage, both of which are good if you plan on using the dehumidifier for extended periods.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N is okay for use in bathrooms. It produces a fair amount of heat and noise, especially for a machine with this kind of capacity. However, its dehumidification capacity is decent overall and will be sufficient for most bathrooms. It does have a drain port for continuous drainage, but it doesn't come with a drain hose, and this unit lacks a built-in pump that would allow it to drain into a sink or tub.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N performs satisfactorily in large rooms. Its dehumidification capacity is a little low for especially large rooms, but it offers impressively high maximum airflow, which helps promote air circulation in open-concept spaces. It's also impressively energy-efficient and won't have much of an impact on your energy bill. That said, it is a little noisy, which can be disruptive if you set it up nearby while watching TV at a lower volume.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N is a mediocre option for use in bedrooms. It's rather noisy and produces a fair amount of heat, making smaller bedrooms feel rather stuffy. It's also a little bulky, making it a bit of a hassle to fit into smaller rooms. Airflow in its lowest fan speed setting is also quite high, which can be disruptive if the vent is placed close to your face. On the upside, it's impressively energy-efficient, which is good if you regularly leave it running overnight.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N has satisfactory dehumidification capacity. It's best suited for dehumidifying medium-sized rooms and might struggle in large, open-concept spaces.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N makes a fair amount of noise. It'll be something of a nuisance if you need to leave it running at its highest fan speed while you're trying to get some rest, watch TV, or have company over.
The hOmeLabs HME021002N produces a fair amount of heat. If it's left to run for hours at a time, it can make some smaller rooms feel rather stuffy.

The hOmeLabs HME021002N is a 35-pint dehumidifier. It offers decent overall dehumidification capacity, great energy efficiency, and surprisingly high max airflow, but it also emits more heat than peers like the Frigidaire FFAD3533W1. It has a pretty small 0.8 gal (3.0 L) water tank, though it can be configured to drain continuously.
This dehumidifier has decent airflow performance. Its max airflow at its highest fan speed is fairly high, though not quite to the degree of the Frigidaire FFAD3533W1. That said, it's still more than capable of generating air movement in larger spaces. However, there isn't much of a difference in airflow in its lowest fan speed setting, which might be undesirable in some situations.
