Our Verdict

Logitech G PRO Keyboard

Logitech G PRO X Keyboard

The Logitech G PRO X Keyboard is the successor to the Logitech G PRO Keyboard. The two are nearly identical, but the G PRO X has significantly lower latency and comes with a hot-swappable PCB, meaning you can change the stock switches. Otherwise, both keyboards are solid choices for a straightforward gaming board.

I’ve had my Logitech G Pro X keyboard for a few years now and I can say with confidence that it is one of the best keyboards I’ve ever had. Really, the only thing I don’t like about it is that it’s wired. Contrary to what is said under Build Quality, “Underneath the keyboard, there are grooves for cable management”, there is actually no cable management grooves or channels. Perhaps there were on the Shroud edition, which is what is pictured; I have the black model. The cable sticks out of the centre back and is quite in the way if your desk setup is tight. I use mine with an Alienware M18 notebook (not a small machine, I know), and if the desk is not deep enough, I have trouble with the placement of my keyboard because of where the cord is. All-in-all though, this is an awesome keyboard all around.

    Hi there,

We really appreciate you reaching out to share your thoughts and experiences, and we’re glad to hear the Logitech G PRO X has served you well over the years.

We’ve also taken a closer look at our review regarding our note about “grooves for cable management.” It looks like that segment of text was a mistake on our end. We can confirm there isn’t a cable channel on the Shroud edition of this keyboard, and we’ll be fixing that text shortly.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention, and best wishes!
