Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 (2023)
Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 (2024)
The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 (2024) is better than the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 (2023) for most uses. The Samsung is available with newer, faster Intel Lunar Lake CPUs, allowing you to tackle more demanding workloads. These chips also sport an NPU to speed up AI-based tasks like background-blurring on video calls, image generation in photo editing apps, and Microsoft's Copilot AI app. The overall user experience isn't too different between these two devices except for the display. The Samsung's 120Hz 2.8k OLED panel looks sharper and brighter, and it has full coverage of the DCI P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces, making it suitable for color-critical work like photo and video editing. That said, unlike the Dell's 60Hz FHD+ IPS display, the Samsung's OLED screen flickers and may bother those sensitive to flickering, and it's susceptible to permanent burn-in.
