Test Bench 0.4
Changelog

Updated

See the next 0.5 changelog.

Note

This iteration of the robot vacuum test bench carries over from a time when robot vacuums and conventional vacuums were tested using the same overall methodology. It corresponds to version 0.8 of the conventional vacuum test bench.

Test Methodology

As always, our test methodology is a work in progress, and we depend on your feedback to improve it. Our test bench 0.8 is rather simplistic and contains flaws. Before improving it further, we want to gather your suggestions about which aspect is the most important for you to make sure our efforts align with what you care about.

Based on the feedback we'll be getting and the vacuums that will be tested, we expect to develop a small test bench update in a few weeks to correct the scores or our tests to better match your expectations. You can either leave a comment on any page or send us an email to vacuum@rtings.com. Our tests for TVs, monitors, and headphones wouldn't be as good as they are now without your help.
