The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't a bad overall robot vacuum, but there's nothing special that stands out about it. It's fairly well-built, the dirt compartment is of a decent size, and it has excellent battery life. Unfortunately, it's difficult to maintain as there are a lot of parts you need to take care of regularly, and there are also a number of parts you need to replace often. Luckily, it comes with an extra set of side brushes and filters, so you won't need to worry about replacing those for a bit. There's no dedicated app, so instead, it comes with a remote with which you can control the vacuum. It can maneuver easily under couches and tables, but because it doesn't have a smart pathing feature, it moves around your room randomly and might miss some spots.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is okay to use on bare floors. It has decent performance on this surface as it easily cleans small debris like rice and it's good with large debris like cereal. Sadly, it's disappointing at cleaning hair. It's also difficult to maintain and there are a lot of recurring costs. On the upside, it has an adequately-sized dirt compartment for a robot vacuum.
Disappointing on low-pile carpet. The eufy RoboVac 11S does a great job at vacuuming hair, although it can get stuck around the brushroll. It cleans some large debris like sand, but it loses its performance as the dirt compartment fills, and it's bad with small debris. Unfortunately, it's difficult to maintain and there are a lot of recurring costs.
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't bad on high-pile carpet. It cleans a good amount of hair, but it struggles with cleaning both small debris, like baking soda, and large debris like sand. It's a fairly well-built vacuum but unfortunately, it's difficult to maintain and you need to regularly replace several parts.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is passable if you have a pet that sheds a lot. It cleans a lot of hair on low-pile and high-pile carpet, but it struggles on bare floors. Hair gets stuck around the brushroll, but luckily it's removable if you need to clean it. It's a fairly well-built vacuum but it's difficult to take care of.
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't designed to clean on stairs.
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't designed to clean cars.

As a robot vacuum, the eufy RoboVac 11S doesn't stand out much. It performs much better than the eufy RoboVac 30C, but its performance on bare floors isn't as good as any of the vacuums in the Roborock series, like the Roborock S4 and the Roborock S5.
See our recommendations for the best robot vacuums, the best vacuums, and the best robot vacuums for pet hair.
The eufy L60 is far better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. Unlike the 11S, the L60 is a smart-pathing unit, and it cleans in a much more time-efficient, thorough way, all without bumping into obstacles like furniture legs. Furthermore, the 11S doesn't have a smartphone app. This is a big downside compared to the L60, as through the eufy Clean companion app, you can do things like set up cleaning schedules, label individual rooms in your home and send the vacuum to clean them, or even set up no-go zones for areas that you don't want the vacuum to enter.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is much better than the eufy RoboVac 30C. Both vacuums have a similar build, they each require the same maintenance needs, and their dirt compartments are the same. However, the 11S performs better overall and it does a much better job cleaning carpets.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a better robot vacuum than the ILIFE A4s. The eufy offers better performance on all surface types. However, the ILIFE has fewer recurring costs. It also comes with an electrowall, which acts as a boundary marker.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is slightly better than the eufy RoboVac G30, though they're fairly evenly matched overall. The 11S has a larger dirt compartment and superior cleaning performance on all surface types, especially on carpeted floors. That said, the G30 Edge has a companion app, a more efficient smart-pathing navigation feature, and comes with boundary strips, so you can prevent the vacuum from entering certain rooms. It's also a little easier to maintain.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a better vacuum for more situations than the eufy RoboVac 15C, though the two are very similar in terms of design. The 11S delivers superior performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet, but the 15C is slightly better on high-pile carpet and has a companion app.
The Samsung POWERbot R7040 is much better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The Samsung has a smart pathing feature, it cleans better on bare floors, it's easier to maintain, and there are virtually no recurring costs. However, the eufy performs better on high-pile carpet, it has a longer battery life, and the dirt compartment is also bigger.
The eufy RoboVac X8 is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The X8 is better-built, has fewer parts requiring regular maintenance, lasts longer on charge, has more advanced automation capabilities, and performs better on all surface types. Conversely, the 11S has a larger dustbin.
The Roborock E4 is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The Roborock feels better-built, incurs fewer recurring costs, is easier to maintain, has a bigger dirt compartment, and can maneuver itself far more effectively. It also clears more debris on everything from bare floors to low and high-pile carpet and has a longer battery life, though this can vary in the real world. Conversely, the eufy is a little more compact.
The iRobot Roomba 694 is slightly better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The iRobot is better-built, easier to maintain, incurs fewer recurring costs, and takes less time to recharge while offering a longer maximum battery life, though this can vary in the real world. It can also climb over low-lying obstructions, like electrical cords, with less difficulty and also delivers better overall performance on bare floors. However, the eufy does a better job sucking up pet hair from all surface types. While it lacks a companion app, unlike the iRobot, you can use it without an internet connection with its included remote control.
The yeedi K650 is a better vacuum than the eufy Robovac 11S for most uses. The yeedi has a much better performance on high-pile carpets and bare floors. It also has a longer battery life and a bigger dustbin. On the other hand, the eufy delivers better performance on low-pile carpets.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a better robot vacuum than the Coredy R550 (R500+). The eufy has fewer recurring costs and performs better on all surface types. It also has better maneuverability. However, the Coredy is easier to maintain.
The eufy RoboVac 11S and Shark ION Robot AV753 Series each have distinct advantages, and one may suit you better than the other, depending on your needs. The eufy clears pet hair more effectively on all surface types and struggles less on low-pile carpet. Meanwhile, the Shark is better-built, has a longer battery life, and does a much better job of dealing with bulkier debris like cereal. It also has a companion app, though it's somewhat limited in features and isn't especially intuitive.
The eufy RoboVac G20 is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The G20 has a longer maximum battery life and delivers notably better performance on bare floors as well as low and high-pile carpet. Conversely, the 11S does a little better on low-pile carpet and has a larger dustbin.
The Shark EZ Robot Self-Empty is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The Shark is better-built, has a larger dirt capacity thanks to its large external dustbin, delivers superior performance on all surface types, and maneuvers itself more effectively. Conversely, the eufy is easier to maintain and incurs fewer recurring costs.
The Roborock S7 is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The Roborock is better-built, incurs lower recurring costs, has a larger dustbin, lasts much longer on a single charge, and delivers superior performance on bare floors as well as low and high-pile carpet. The Roborock also has a far more advanced mapping and navigation system that yields much better maneuverability and more advanced automation capabilities, like setting up virtual boundary lines or directing the vacuum to specific rooms within your home.
The iRobot Roomba i3 is a much better robot vacuum than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The iRobot feels better-built, has fewer parts that need regular cleaning, has a HEPA filter, charges much faster while offering similar overall battery performance, and is more effective in clearing debris on bare floors and high-pile carpet. The iRobot also does a better job of maneuvering itself and has more advanced automation features, most notably its self-emptying capability that lets it automatically transfer debris from its internal dirt compartment to an external dustbin attached to its charging dock. That said, the eufy delivers better pet hair-cleaning performance on carpets and incurs lower recurring costs.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a better vacuum than the iRobot Roomba 614 for most uses. The eufy sucks up more pet hair from all surface types, delivers better overall performance on carpets, and has significantly better automation features. Nevertheless, the iRobot is better-built and has longer battery life. It's also easier to maintain and incurs fewer recurring costs.
The eufy RoboVac 11S and bObsweep Bob Pro have different advantages. The eufy clears pet hair far more effectively, is easier to maintain, and cleans more consistently on carpeted surfaces. Meanwhile, the bObsweep is better-built, has lower recurring costs, and lasts much longer on a single charge. It also struggles less with small and bulky debris on bare floors.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a better robot vacuum than the ONSON GOOVI F007 Robot Vacuum. While both vacuums are similarly well-built and are hard to maintain, the eufy offers better performance on all surface types. The ONSON offers a slightly better battery performance though.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a better option for pet owners than the Eureka Groove. The eufy cleans pet hair more effectively on both low and high-pile carpet while struggling much less with bulky debris. Unlike the Eureka, however, it doesn't have an allergen-trapping HEPA filter. The Eureka is also slightly better-built.
The iRobot Roomba 960 is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S. The iRobot has a bigger dirt compartment, performs better on any surface type, and it has a smart pathing feature. However, the eufy has a slightly longer battery life, but it takes longer to charge.
The iRobot Roomba E5 and the eufy RoboVac 11S are similar vacuums. The iRobot is easier to maintain and there are less recurring costs. It does a better job at vacuuming on both low-pile and high-pile carpet, and its battery takes a much shorter time to charge. On the other hand, the eufy has a bigger dirt compartment and it performs better on bare floors.
The iRobot Roomba 675 is a bit better overall than the eufy RoboVac 11S. It's easier to maintain, there are fewer recurring costs, it's better built, and it has better battery life. However, the eufy has better performance, especially on carpet, and it's a better choice if you have pets.
The 11S has a decent build quality and it pretty much has the exact same design as the eufy RoboVac 30C. It's mainly plastic, with a matte finish underneath and a glossy coating on top. The two wheels are rubber and feel durable. The entire vacuum feels sturdy although, like most vacuums, the plastic dirt compartment feels like it could break if dropped. On top, there's an on/off button with a battery indicator light. The power switch for the vacuum is located underneath, and this allows you to completely shut off the vacuum. The robot vacuum is easy to assemble when you first get it as you just need to set up the charging dock and attach the side brushes.
The 11S is hard to maintain as there a lot of parts that need maintenance, but each part is easy to access.
You can clean any part with the brush on the dedicated cleaning tool. If you wash any part with water, they must be air-dried before using them again. If you want a robot vacuum that's easier to maintain, look into the iRobot Roomba 675.
Sadly, there are a lot of parts that you need to regularly replace. You must replace the filters every two months and eufy sells packs of six sets of both the foam filter and the high-performance filter. The side brushes and brushroll guard must be replaced every three to six months, or when they're visibly worn. You must change the brushroll every 6-12 months, and eufy sells these replacement parts through their website or on their Amazon store.
Note that the manual we received with the 11S was Version 1 and didn't include the replacement time for the brushroll guard. The updated manual, Version 2, is available online and includes the replacement time for the brushroll guard.
If you want a robot vacuum with virtually no recurring costs, check out the Samsung POWERbot R7040.
The eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S is very easy to store. It lays on the ground and mounts onto the charging dock by itself. You need to make sure wires around the dock are tied with the zip ties that come with it, or else the vacuum sucks them up.
The size of the dirt compartment isn't bad for a robot vacuum. It's the exact same size as the eufy RoboVac 30C. It needs frequent emptying and even though there's no line indicating when it's full, it's fairly easy to see through the plastic.
The BoostIQ RoboVac 11S has an unlimited range as long as it still has battery life left, but it isn't able to go up stairs.
The eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S is very portable. It's not very heavy if you need to need to carry it to another floor.
The RoboVac 11S has excellent battery life. On its most powerful suction setting, 'Max', it lasts just over an hour. On the least powerful mode, 'Standard', it cleans for almost two hours. That said, if you're looking for a budget-friendly robot vacuum that can last even longer on a single charge, take a look at the Shark ION Robot AV753 Series. There's also a battery indicator light on the vacuum. It's blue when the vacuum is on standby, fully charged, or cleaning. When there's minimal battery life left, it turns solid orange and starts to return to the dock, and the battery flashes orange while it's charging. Lastly, the light flashes red when there's an error.
The eufy RoboVac 11S has two power settings: 'Standard Power' and 'Max'. Like the eufy RoboVac G20, its 'BoostIQ' function allows the vacuum to automatically switch between 'Standard Power' and 'Max' depending on the surface that it's on. It also has different cleaning modes, which you can control on the remote.
Like most robot vacuums, the 11S doesn't come with many tools. There's one main brushroll and two side brushes go onto the underneath of the vacuum, although four brushes come with the vacuum. There's also a cleaning tool with a brush on one end and a hook blade on the other.
There's no alternative configuration for this vacuum.
The 11S has decent performance on bare floors. It easily cleans small debris like rice but it struggles with hair as it gets wrapped around the brushroll. With large debris like cereal, the side brushes push some cereal to the side. Even though it sucks up a great amount of large debris when the dirt compartment is empty, it quickly loses performance as the dirt compartment fills. Consider the bObsweep Bob Pro if you're looking for a budget-friendly robot vacuum with superior bare floor performance.
Disappointing on low-pile carpet, but it's much better than the eufy RoboVac 30C or Coredy R500. It sucks up a great amount of hair and a decent amount of large debris like sand, although it loses its performance with large debris as the compartment fills. Sadly, it struggles with small debris like baking soda.
The 11S is passable on high-pile carpet, especially for a robot vacuum. It sucks up a good amount of hair, although some can get stuck in the brushroll. It's bad with both small and large debris, and once again, it loses its performance as the dirt compartment fills. If you have a lot of high-pile carpets to keep clean, you may prefer the Wyze Robot Vacuum, which does a much better job on this surface type.
This vacuum has just okay maneuverability. The 'Quick Cleaning' mode is efficient at cleaning a small room, but the vacuum loses track of areas it has already cleaned as it doesn't have a smart pathing feature. It's small enough to go underneath couches and tables, but wires are a real challenge for this vacuum. If there's an electric wire laying around, the 11S easily gets stuck, so you have to move the wires on your own or tie them up using the zip ties. It doesn't come with boundary strips, but you can buy some on eufy's store.
The eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S has mediocre automation features. It has a remote, but there's no option to control the vacuum with a dedicated app. Luckily, you don't need an internet connection to use the robot vacuum. You can adjust the suction power or select different cleaning modes with the remote, and you also schedule cleaning times. Unfortunately, unlike the ILIFE A4s, it lacks boundary markers to help keep it out of certain areas. If you want a a smart-pathing robot vacuum with a LIDAR mapping sensor, the eufy L60 is a good option.
