Dell G3223Q
Dell Alienware AW3225QF
The Dell G3223Q and the Dell Alienware AW3225QF are both 4k, 32-inch gaming monitors, but they have a few differences. The AW3225QF is better in most areas as it uses a QD-OLED panel with a better contrast ratio and has brighter highlights and improved overall picture quality. The AW3225QF also has a higher 240Hz refresh rate, making it the better choice for PC gamers. That said, the G3223Q is a bit more versatile if you need something for office work, too, as it gets bright and doesn't risk permanent burn-in with constant exposure to the same static elements over time.

Those are good points, we’ll keep that in mind for future test bench updates, thanks! :)
Hello,
Yeah it will be super interesting to see indeed! I will be checking and waiting :) thanks a lot for taking time to show those pictures I know you guys always busy bringing us the best reviews out there 100%.
Note: Yeah most mini review I found have old ips monitors and when they have new ones the camera picks up the ips glow a lot more than how really looks in reality. A nice deep analysis video showing black levels/ color reproduction/ dimming in these 2 different tech haven’t been properly done yet by anyone. (adjusting cameras iso or so to show close to reality). I know oled is the way but will still be interesting to see it in action done by pros that know how to explain what it’s been shown!
Although we don’t have any immediate plans to do such a video, you do bring up a good point, so it’s something we can consider for the future! That said, you can see an example of what a QD-OLED looks like next to an IPS in a bright room and in a dark room. This is a good example to show how the black levels raise on a QD-OLED in a bright room, but the perceived contrast is far better in a dark room.
Hello Rtings.com
If possible can you do a video comparison on this 2 monitors? to show more the huge different in both tech, also no-one has really done a good comparison IPS vs oled video without really adjusting the camera to avoid picking up the ips glow that cameras seems to exaggerate a bit more. Also to see how the black levels in both really show side by side with camera iso adjusted accordingly.
Will be also interesting to see hdr, to see how the dimming affect or not affect the experience next to an hdr (while inferior) that don’t do much dimming!
