Samsung Odyssey OLED G80SD S32DG80
Dell Alienware AW3225QF
The Dell Alienware AW3225QF and the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8/G80SD S32DG80 are both 4k @ 240Hz QD-OLED monitors. The Samsung is the better choice if you plan to use the monitor as a TV, as it has a remote and integrated apps like Netflix. It's also a better choice if you're in a brighter room, as deep blacks look less purple when a considerable amount of light shines on the screen. However, if video quality is very important to you, then the Dell is the better option, as it supports Dolby Vision, and content available in that format will look better.

Hey, this is because we don’t take Dolby Vision into account with the scoring. Because the Dell doesn’t support 1440p @ 120Hz on the Xbox, and because 1440p @ 60Hz doesn’t support VRR, it gets docked points.
How is the Alienware getting a 8.2 for Xbox Series and the Samsung that doesn’t support Dolby Vision gaming getting a 10 🤔
Hey, just to make sure we’re on the same page, can you please clarify the photos you’re referencing for the Xbox?
As for the motion photos, that does come down to how the camera interacts with the display, and also the color temperature of the display. These differences are harder to see in person.
Is it possible that you mixed up some left and right pictures? In the xbox config the one that is not supporting some modes has the picture which shows that it does. Also, some pictures show very different colors, like the CAD test, the top left on the R is different. Is this just because of random photo settings or are those monitors really so different despite sharing a panel?
