Our Verdict

Sony INZONE M9

Cooler Master Tempest GP27U

The Cooler Master Tempest GP27U is better overall than the Sony INZONE M9. Although they each have full-array local dimming features, the Cooler Master uses Mini LED backlights to produce deeper blacks, and it also gets much brighter in HDR for brighter highlights. The Cooler Master also has better motion handling and better ergonomics that make it easier to adjust.
