Previous changelog: 0.8
Test Bench 0.8.1 is a minor update with only two changes. The first change is the addition of Counter-Strike 2 as a game benchmark, and the second brings the keyboard tests more in line with our keyboard reviews.
The addition of Counter-Strike 2 as a game benchmark is necessary, as the original CS:GO is no longer available. Nothing will change in the actual tests, meaning we'll still be testing the average frame rate with High settings, the 1% and 0.1% lows, and the average frame rate with Low settings. We haven't retested any reviewed laptops and don't plan to do so. We'll only include CS 2 as a benchmark in new laptop reviews.
There are a few changes in the keyboard tests:
Pre-Travel: The posted pre-travel value is now an average of all measured samples.
Total Travel: The posted total travel value is now the point where it passes our threshold instead of the last point gathered.
Graph: The graph now shows all measured samples instead of just one. See the examples below.
We have retested popular models. The test results for the following models have been converted to the new testing methodology. However, the text might be inconsistent with the new results.
