MSI G274QPF-QD
Dell G2724D
The MSI G274QPF-QD and the Dell G2724D are both 27-inch gaming monitors. However, the Dell is the better monitor for most people. The Dell has far better black uniformity, so there's less cloudiness on the screen in a dark room. The Dell also gets brighter in HDR and SDR, so it's better at overcoming glare, and it also has a faster response time, so fast-moving objects look crisper. However, the MSI has a better HDR color gamut, so HDR colors look more realistic, and this monitor is the better choice if realistic HDR colors are important to you.

We’ve purchased the product and are waiting for it to arrive in our lab.
Just make sure to try different ear position to make sure the anc turns on similar to the older hammerhead pro.

Hi! I have a Playstation 5 and a ROG ally, this razer hammerhead pro hyperspeed is good for both? I test the barracuda x with bluetooh in gaming mode on the ally and i like it, but i prefer something like this more portable. If not i see the audeze maxwell, but, i read a lot of people with problems with them, on the planar magnetic drivers…….thanks
Hi there,
Yes, these earbuds will be a solid choice for either console. If you don’t mind connecting to your ROG Ally via Bluetooth, their Game Mode can help lower latency over this connection. You can then use their wireless USB-C dongle on PS5.
The Razer Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeed are lighter and more portable than the Audeze Maxwell, which are a lot heavier and aren’t meant to be constantly moved around. If you’re looking for portability, the Razer is the better choice.
I hope that helps! :)
Thanks for the reply!
Update: Added a comparison to the Razer Moray in the Bluetoothbox.
Are there more types of wireless earbuds that use an IR USB receiver like this one? I’d like do some research regarding which one would be the best choice for me.
Hi there,
This design isn’t the most common, and we haven’t tested many with an IR USB receiver unfortunately. We’ve only tested this Razer and the EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid Truly Wireless. That said, you may still want to check out the JBL Quantum TWS and the Logitech G FITS; the Logitech has LIGHTFORM technology so the earbuds can mold to the shape of your ear.
I hope this helps!
There are also the new released Sony Inzone Buds, Edifier Hecate GX05, GT4S, Soundcore VR P10 and CLEER ARC II Gaming Version. I owned the Hecate GX05 and JBL Quantum TWS, both are great for gaming but GX05 have the smallest receiver that is best for smartphones.
Update: We’ve retested Virtual Soundstage as these headphones have a THX EQ preset and are THX certified. However, neither feature is multi-channel virtual surround support.
Have run a set of these for 2 years now. On my second pair with a replacement from razer. The function is awesome the only issue (hence why I’ve had 2) is the case battery. Wireless charging cause excess heat which cause the case battery to fail. With the second pair I have not used the wireless charging at all but have still noticed a significant degradation of the battery after ~15 months when compared to the original hammerhead pros (I got almost 4 years without noticing battery degradation). Great product barring the issues with the case battery.
Poor battery life. The first unit I received lasted for at most 2 hours with one full charge. Sent back for a replacement and the new unit still only last for around 3 hours with one full charge. Test environments were same. Lights off, ANC off, Bluetooth connected to iOS, loop playing single song.
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out. We perform our battery test by calibrating the headphones to 82~85dB using a pink noise stimulus between 250hz-2khz. We then play a Bass loop track until the HP’s battery is depleted. The battery life could vary depending on the content and volume of the headphones you are playing. I would also recommend that you contact Razer for more support 🙂
Cheers, Dagobiet
