The ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B and the LG 34GP950G-B use different panel technologies, each with strengths and weaknesses. The ASUS uses a VA panel, resulting in a much higher contrast ratio, so it's a better choice for a dark room. The LG, on the other hand, uses an IPS panel.
