See our previous 1.3 changelog.
Test Bench 1.3.1 is a minor update with two small changes.
Analog: Whether or not the keyboard has analog switches that you can adjust the actuation point for.
PCB (Estimated): The estimation of the keyboard's press latency, excluding any switch pre-travel.
This is done by taking all the data from our 101 keyboard switches and calculating the best linear regression for linear, tactile, and clicky switches. We then use the keyboard keystroke data to interpolate its switch latency. Finally, we subtract the interpolated switch latency from the full keyboard latency to obtain the estimated PCB latency.
We have retested popular models. The test results for the following models have been converted to the new testing methodology. However, the text might be inconsistent with the new results.
